Program Outcomes
The following are student learning outcomes for the Intermediate Technical Certificate in Drafting Technology at CWI:
- The student will use their understanding of machine, architectural, civil, and structural drafting and design to become an entry level drafter/designer in one of the disciplines of drafting.
- The student will be able to use at least two types of software for Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) for producing two and three-dimensional objects.
- The student will be able to analyze problems related to the profession requiring integration of fundamental skills in drafting, CADD, and required mathematics.
- The student will develop critical thinking and problem solving skills in related course lab assignments.
